Anoa Gibson-Hunter is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with experience in family medicine, urgent care, hospitalist and surgical settings in the DMV area. Ms. Gibson-Hunter received her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Howard University in 2009, and went on to complete an Interdisciplinary Master’s at New York University in 2011. While working as a community program coordinator in Brooklyn, she became interested in ways to more directly serve vulnerable and underserved communities. After shadowing several practicing Physician Assistants, she returned to her home in Washington DC, and completed her Physician Assistant training at Howard University in 2017.
